2. is it me, or is this a cynical attempt by the thugs

to present cheney as their choice to run against Obama in 2012? I hope that that isn't the case here. I can't see how anyone in the thug party would have the stone and/or courage to tell this old man to sit the eff down and shut the eff up.

in his own mind. Unfortunately some people like to be fed bullshit. The GOP is a cult. They voluntarily participate and fight against any truth. While their party are losing numbers right now..a good thing..we so need a special prosecuting commission to expose and announce to the country this is no longer acceptable. It would also send a warning to any future Jim Jones type that we're watching. They're just too dangerous to our national safety to look the other way.
