up sharp sounding arguments to support his party dogma. But he doesn't think independently. He just uses language to impress people. There is no depth in what he says, no concern for human values.

If the Democrats had committed the torture, he would vociferously oppose it.

If there is a terrorist attack on the US in the next 20 years, they will immediately shriek, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!" and blame it all on Obama not continuing to torture the bad guys. They don't care that torture creates and radicalizes enemies, it's just about politics to them.

Speaking as someone who has actually been to the mid-east....
Unless you are willing to stop being who you are, they will not stop. It's not what we are doing, it's who we are. It's everything about you they hate.

You must also be against women's rights, abortion rights, gay rights... I mean almost everything we stand for urks these crazies. I don't think you understand the nature of this evil or the importance of stopping them from killing us.

I don't think you realise how much they hate us everytime they see a woman speaking in public.
Getting this information isn't politics, it's a fight for our right to continue.
This isn't a conversation at Starbucks. We are fighting for our very existance.

Ignorance is a blessing to those in the dark. We aren't talking about school-yard bullies here. We are dealing with a hatred that sees no logic.

They see us as a bunch of gay, perverted, worldly, commercial, whoring devils who will not control our women, or our children. They feel we are exporting evil to them and must be killed to be stopped. They feel that to save the world they must destroy you.
And your silly school-yard logic for why they hate us and what is creating them will not save a single member of your family if they ever meet up with you or manage to get here with weapons of mass destruction.

God protect you. It's a fools paradise in romper room.

Humans are humans, and to not think that is ignorant. I've known Iraqiis and Iranians, several of them, as well as other people from the Mid-East and they want to raise their families just as we do.

they respond with that knee-jerk reaction they have to anything that is different from stay the course. Obama didn't say that terrorism began with the opening of Gitmo but that the result of it does 2 things. Increases the will of our enemies to fight us and decreases the will of others to support us. The second is as important as the first. You don't willingly give your enemies encouragement or tools to recruit because when you do you cause your support team to question your motives and sound judgement and you risk your men in the field trying to win hearts and minds.

Isn't that what has happened? The coalition of the willing was sad for a nation that flaunts itself as one who spreads democracy and freedom. This kind of battle we're engaged in requires cunning and cooperation. As corny as it sounds the words Duty Honor and Courage really mean something to our guys out there giving it all. They deserve nothing less from us. 5 deferments Dick wouldn't know about that nor many of these talking point guys but they do.
