I still just sit in amazement and horrible at this depiction of D-Day. Seeing the rest of the movie in a theater was a blur as I just sat there thinking "Could I do that?" I mean like a personal gutcheck.

2. I'm assuming that's the opening minutes of the movie -- the landing on the beach.

I could barely watch it in the theater. It was as if my dad were there retelling the story he'd told us in one of those rare times when he relived his experiences there.
