I think big business and small business is working it out, fighting against health refomrm would mean the biggest blockage against economy recovery. It's just plain stupid on every level for the right not to want health care reform, as it benefits about 99 percent of America excluding the health insurance industry. All the big players should be coming out in order to regain profits the health insurance industry is taking from everyone else and if they need to contribute to make is so, so be it, backing the waivering senators especially Baucus and Reid and let's get this done, the industries can pay now to save enourmous later. Once the health insurance industry is put in check everybody wins from music, to hollywood, to military(not my favorite industry but if they're gonna do the right thing for a change good on them) , to every citizen so big business should be fighting this battle even harder than us really. It is in nobody's intrest that one industry sucks up a huge chunk of the money in society. Hey even the "genius" Sarah Palin can benefit as if more folks can afford their health care they may buy her crumby book, so I think a little sanity she can get behind health care reform.

4. Palin doesn't know what she's talking about?
Well, we should still at least try to keep it secret until she opens her mouth again.

14. Wishing ..............
My old man used to say, "wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up first".

In other words, "Annthrax" or "Coultergeist" it is. Kinder than a lot of alternative names I have heard her called. None of which I have called her (hey, I just became repuke). In a pigs eye.

21. My problem, which is apparently lost on YOU,
has nothing do with Coulter and everything to do with how the initial term offends transgendered folks. As has been pointed out on DU a million times. People can call her whatever the fuck they like, but shouldn't use terms that offend OUR OWN FUCKING ALLIES.

Chew on that.

23. It's still hypocritical to resent calling coulter a specific name by calling her
a name while doing it. PERIOD! Someone can always take offense at something. So people should behave accordingly if they are so sensitive to words. Got it now? I thought you would.

26. I got the fact that you don't care if you offend our transgendered members...
That I got just fine.

You have a strange view of things if you think asking people not to use that term in order to avoid offending our transgendered members has anything to do with calling her names that couldn't possibly offend anyone BUT her and her apologists. Unless you think it likely my use of the name "Annthrax Coultergeist" is likely to offend either the anthrax virus or poltergeists.

That is in no way hypocritical, but if you choose to misrepresent the term in that way there's nothing I can do to stop you.

12. So Sarah Palin needs a 'career manager'
I don't discount her - she has a few years to remake her image - look what they did with W - it's still possible.

16. I think she's now toast. Especially if the rumored divorce happens......
.........That could get pretty ugly itself, and also the "quitting" problem. She has way too much baggage at this point to be salvageable even by the best "handlers".

18. the John McCain point was the most important - they couldn't even sway the Rebublicans

So their loud minority (the moral minority) is just a cricket in a field of emptiness. Sure their noise fills the vacuum of silence, but it doesn't call attention to the rest of the animals who really inhabit that area. But they sure got those legs rubbing together at town halls, don't they!

20. sarah palin is a firestarter. A verbal pyromaniac.
She indiscriminately starts fires and her supporters/whores fan the flames while it burns down their own houses while those who do think and know what they're talking about are busy grabbing the water hoses to put it out before it consumes their own houses. She is a danger to this country--both she and michelle bachmann.
