1. HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS....

I worked as a non-Union carpenter for 25 years. The corporate
contractors and small companies would usuallY provide us with
a "dinner" annually. These were actually just a way
to get us there, off of the clock, to preach the evils of
joining the Union. I was young, dumb and because of my
enthusiasm, perpetually employed. After a friend left the
bridge crew I was on, and called me a few months later with
the true "scoop" on the Union. I joined. Within 2
weeks my life was transformed. I was earning 12 dollars more
on the hour. I was paid overtime. I had insurance for my
family...and so much more, including RESPECT.
