1. Anyone who doesn't get fired up by this speech
doesn't belong here. Incredible. Magnificent. Perfect.

Absolutely breath taking.

Nuff said.

4. Why he keeps campaigning?
I heard this speech for most of the two years he was running. Why is he delivering it again? Because he is alone in doing his job and PERSONALLY reply to the avalanche of total BS spewed by the Republicans. He is Atlas caring the weight of the world. I ain't out there fighting this Fox Machine with him. I gotta work.

Those speeches were great in 2008, but its 2009 now. Obama is president, not a southern preacher.

Speeches not backed up by (or contradicted by) actions are insulting, not breath taking. When Obama gives a speech about the need to do what is right and not what is popular, then tries to cover up Bush's crimes because he doesn't want to deal with the political fallout that is insulting to my intelligence, not breath taking.

The speeches were great when he was a candidate. But I want Obama to use his rhetoric skills to get the public behind action to support those values and morals he speaks about. When he does that he has my full support.

It was a good speech though. We haven't had a president come out and talk about how important unions have been to building this nation, probably since Truman.
