3. hundreds of thousands.

I'm almost convinced that it will take mass protests, the sixties-style, to get any meaningful, real changes, be it *real* health care reform, or campaign finance reform, or anything else.

4. Get Busy....
I don't know if we have not been busy, or if there simply is no reporting of any Dem/progressive/left activity. God knows every fart from the right seems to be reported.

5. Take to the streets
On Thursday, Sam Pullen was arrested at the Los Angeles offices of the insurance giant Blue Cross. He refused to give his information to police and vowed to remain in prison until Blue Cross agreed to hear demands that it stop denying doctor-recommended medical treatment to seriously ill patients.

6. Lobbyism
Lobbyism is the source of all our problems.

Until we remove this cancer from our government, nothing will ever change.

Healthcare, world peace, environment, and all other MAJOR issues will never be tackled properly until Lobbying is removed.

Its our #1 problem.

And removing it should be our #1 objective.

But how do we do that when the very people who could remove it are those who profit from it?

In todays American government, you cannot get elected and campain properly without compain contributions from lobbyist/organizations.

So those who take office are already tainted by the easy money that comes from lobbyists.

Personally, I dont ever see things changing.

This system has been set up in a way that makes it basically impossible to reform.

I think eventually, These politians will run us into the ground and get rich in the process.

But I continue to hope that things might change some day. And keep doing everything I can to help that goal become a reality.

I had put my hope in obama, but the be perfectly honest, I am becoming very disappointed and unsure about his goals and how hard he will fight for us. Since he is part of the system, then he has already been lobbied and given large amounts of money from special interest groups/corporations.
Will he side with them? Or us?

time will tell.
But so far I am growing very concerned about his willingness to "go to the mattress" for the american people.

11. Moyers is the man and on top of his game.
Baucus is in some major trouble Good, he's not worthy of being in Congress if he's being pimped by the insurance companies.

Remember that name. She and Baucus are probably screwing each other; they are certainly screwing us.
