Maybe the attack on the 14th amendment is a secret birther conspiracy. If Obama'a father was an immigrant, then they can say he's not a legal citizen.

I think we should mock them as secret birthers.

the tea-booggers, however, are not arguing to preserve the constitution that's been the cornerstone of our nation. They're talking about a constitution that they've fabricated in their own mind because they can't understand the language in the real one and how it applies to e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e in the country. Theirs leaves out all of the extraneous garbage about rights for those who look differently, believe differently, love differently than they do.

The Republicans ultimate goal is to tax cut the Federal Government into bankruptcy so that they can step into the void and do away with SS & Medicare...And then double the defense budget and resume attacking other countries!

Unfortunately I think they're winning. Abolishing the 14th amendment is a step in the direction of creating different classes of citizen. Which is important in a split rich/poor society... caste systems help keep the serf class down.
