4. A point about "man on street" questions . . .

I'm sure they show only the stupidest answers.

This must be L.A., right?

Try watching Discovery Channel's Cash Cab when they do a "street shout-out" and ask passers by to answer not-very-easy trivia questions. There are a great many correct answers and very few stupid ones. So, either New Yorkers are way smarter than Los Angeleans or the clips on late night comedy shows are a compilation of the most ridiculous answers.

All I know is that when I see all those stupid answers on a lot of TV shows, I want to give up all hope. When I watch all those people on the street answering questions on Cash Cab, I feel better.
