1. I never understood why people think business experience is helpful in running a government.
Edited on Mon Aug-16-10 05:51 PM by county worker
All business people in government want to do is privatize the services of government and give the business to their friends.

If you want to make money by being in government, don't for everyone elses sake!

2. How to run government like a business
1. Conduct leveraged buyout
2. Let go of everyone who knows anything about the business
3. Replace them with your cronies. Extra points for blood relatives
4. Outsource everything except corporate management to a 3rd world dictatorship (it's cheaper)
5. Cut corners on quality to save money and hope nobody notices
6. Resign when stock price tanks
7. Collect multi-million golden parachute
8. Repeat at a new business

5. hahahaha so much for that 'buyer feedback' she's accumulated at her job

poor Phleg Whitman - she's not going to be able to afford the 'Buy It Now' of the California voter.

she should hit Craigslist and hope for a small mayorship in Alaska - I know of one that is up for grabs

6. Real business acumen
Laying out (so far) 104 MILLION to buy a job that pays less than $200K! Yeah! THAT'S the kind of monetary stewardship California needs! :puke:

7. $104,000,000.00
At last count that's the amount of her own money that Meg Whitman has spent trying to buy the election.

Why?

In what world does that make any sense?

And will California voters have enough sense to see that it doesn't make any sense?
