Liz Cheney's group, Keep America Safe, took a different tone Wednesday, however, with the release of a new ad that uses the emotional testimony of six family members of 9/11 victims to push the message that people must "remember" 9/11 in opposing the "Ground Zero Mosque."

2. Here's what I remember about 9/11:
The Bush Administration and the Republicans FAILED TO PROTECT AMERICA.

They IGNORED ADVANCE WARNINGS THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN.

And when the attack happened, Dick Cheney, the five-deferment-I-don't-want-to-serve-my-country-Dick-Cheney ran and hid.

That's what I remember about 9/11. When you drill down past all the hurt, death, and destruction, the bottom line is: something could have been done that might have prevented this. But NOTHING WAS DONE TO STOP IT.

Republicans = COWARDS.

4. And despite all of that, some people still insist on holding on to their "bullhorn moment."

5. Republicans are afraid of EVERYTHING !!
Edited on Wed Aug-18-10 06:05 PM by SILVER__FOX52
The American people, in general, are very courageous. They don't fear anything. If you fear everything, you spend your entire life hiding from the truth. Someone once said, " a brave man, dies but once but coward dies a thousand deaths ". That's very true. I wonder, how many deaths Cheney has suffered ?

6. Keep America Safe ?
I agree with your group Lizzy, because your dad and
his pet chimp , fucked over 6,000 lives and counting.
Not to mention, wall street, housing burst, the 2nd great
depression, de-regulation of everything.
Your group should be called " Keep America Safe From the Past ".

7. Sick fucks. That's why -- one of the reasons, anyway --
I left the US and hope never to come back. If you're still sitting in the midst of this vile crap you might not have even noticed how genuinely evil these "regular folks" sound.

I feel ill.

9. How I envy you. This is one sick country. I don't know if it will
ever recover from this insidious illness of hate and fear.

8. Didn't really care either way before, but
now I think it's important that the mosque gets built. We all lose if it doesn't.

10. I don't know which of the two Cheney's I detest more. Liz is such a
snake in the grass, but her husband is slimier.
