1. This cop must be a member of DU. I don't think there has ever

been a thread about a nasty crime that doesn't include at least one posting expressing the wish that the criminal be raped in prison.

9. I've noted the disregard for male rape as well.

The thing that is most disturbing / interesting about this, IMO, is the implication of what the cop is saying.

We, those of us who give a shit about treating people as humans, wonder why rape is so prevalent in prison - how it (or the conditions which allow it) is tolerated.

And with this one clip, we are given the answer. The people / culture running the prisons are letting it (or the conditions which allow it to) happen AS PART of the enforcement "package".

It's not easy to defend convicted criminals. I've never been arrested. But the fact is that it should simply be pretty near impossible for men to get raped in prison, but nothing is being done to change the reality.

3. I wonder why we have three states that made it illegal to

film police work. There was a T.V. show that followed police around filming them. There are police cars that have cameras on them that film them?

I have seen buddies delivered a kilo of cocaine and a pound of weed by a uniformed chicago police officer who was also a black gangster disciple (he stole the drugs from the latin kings) do you really think they want that kind of shit on film?

6. I would suggest that if you attempted to film that particular transaction,

you wouldn't really have to worry about whether the filming is illegal or not.

7. i didnt film, i said somthing like

"cool man, your in uniform, that makes these legal right?" he was not amused, but he left and my buddies (including my friend who sold drugs to pay for his college) spent the rest of the day boiling crack, having the 12 and 13 year olds in the gang run the rocks in the streets, counting all the money coming in, snorting a bunch of lines with some of the hottest women in the neighborhood (bridgeport) and smoking as much of the weed as could be done, around midnight the cop came back, still in uniform, to collect his money.....
