1. Duh...
Because Fox News told everyone he wasn't born in this country. Fox News does not report the news, they create the news. Bring the Fairness Doctrine back!

3. The majority of those polled don't know what Obama's religion
is, 43% according to the polls. That is believable since probably 75% of the people don't know who represents them in Congress let alone their state representation, can't indentify Canada as a country located in North America etc.etc. Carville is right, stupidity, ignorance, or don't give a damn.

4. its a shame that they can't get a serious, thinking person to debate on our side
to think Tony Blankley was the most thoughtful respondent is sad.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect Carville had a little warning and if he himself couldn't come up with a reasonable argument: "people are unemployed, they are not thinking about the president's religion, as mentioned up thread, the public doesn't know who represents them in Congress, maybe the president's religion is not as important outside of the media/dc bubble, by even asking this question you are degrading the Muslim faith, why are we surprised when Fox news calls the president a racist all the time? no wonder people think ill of him, and don't get me started on the death panels and the 'terrorist church to be built at ground zero'"

Blankley had a decent explanation. Carville could have just played off that if he'd not given it any thought.

Sometimes the best behind the scenes people make horrible in front of the camera people. Carville may be one of them.

5. Alan Grayson would have had plenty to say. Much stronger
than Carville.
