Ron Johnson, the Tea Party-backed candidate challenging Russ Feingold in Wisconsin, took some flak and generated cable chatter when word surfaced earlier this week that he'd blamed climate change on "sunspot activity."

In fact, scientists have wondered when the sunspots will COME BACK after their usual decline. It's LONG overdue for them to re-appear.

And anyway, sunspots are COOLER areas on the sun, not "eruptions".

Solar astronomers have already debunked this bullshit.

.... we can tell by the type of carbon that it came from burning fossil fuels and not exhaling animals or volcanoes, or cow farts. Yes, there is geological time, but there are also molecules and isotopes. You don't get to site some science and ignore other science. (Yes there were men in the glacial ages, but not 8 billion of them driving cars!)
