9. Really, if they destory the planet, are they any better then us?

Who exactly are you trying to save?

If it takes a thousand years to get interstellar travel, we should have improved by then.

Just think of how the world was in 1000AD. If you don't know, you can look it up on wikipedia.

18. No,

Wikipedia is as accurate as Britannica.

It's a good place to start for those who don't know where to start otherwise.

20. I must say, that was an interesting article
Funny, I grew up on Encylopedia Brittanica and just assumed that everything in it was 100% accurate. Interesting to find out that the amount of errors in it is not insignificant. Who knew?

12. Yeah, I know....
It's so crazy to think what people would think 50 years ago if you told them all the books in all the libraries in the country could fit on a chip the size of your thumb in 50 years.....

23. I laugh at everyone making jokes because...
Edited on Tue Aug-24-10 07:06 AM by SkyDaddy7
If they read this book, which I intend to, they would see it is very interesting! I know the cases they talked about in the interview & they do make you sit back and think. You don't have to be a NUT to examine the evidence with an open mind.

I am all about having "DNA or an Alien chip" like Michio Kaku said before we declare they are aliens but short of that there are some fascinating stories out there with very creditable witnesses!

The problem is we humans think if we can't do something then no one can! That in it self is something to laugh at! Especially considering how old the Universe is there is no telling what "could be" out there!

And then there is the religion thingy that comes from a book that says there is a all powerful all seeing god who created all life including humans put on the flat Earth which stands on pillars & is located at the center of the Universe...Then he impregnated a woman with or without her permission, she had the son of god who was then brutally murdered for the sins of the nasty little humans god created & then rose from the dead & flew into heavan...And this is what most Americans believe

...I find much to laugh it in that story!

Well before I would laugh at the "possibility" that another life form EVOLVED somewhere else in the Universe & managed not to kill itself long enough to be able to develop the technology to travel around the Universe.

Just saying...Which is more laughable?

6. Really, Dylan, the guy who believes in UFOs?
I like sci-fi and both the Big Bang Theory and Eureka are two of my favorite shows and have been for the last few years. But........is this a slow news night or something? Dylan, leave the UFO stories to CNN.

13. A lot of whistling through the grave yard in this thread.
I find that most people who scoff at UFO phenomenon have very little knowledge of the actual subject and are just as much victims of the charlatans as the tin foil hat variety.

16. Well put Drix, I feel you are exactly correct.
ANY semi-intelligent person that looks into the subject without prejudice will come to the Doctor's same conclusion. We are most likely not alone.

I have talked to several people in my lifetime that have witnessed UFOs, some of these people are in my family. This then began my passion to find the truth and I must say.... the truth is nothing like I had envisioned 30 years ago. However, the truth is out there for those willing to look for it.

Peace,

Jokinomx

17. Ever see something in the sky and you didn't know what it was?
Then it was unidentified. Ive seen several birds I couldn't identify, Therefore they're (by definition) UFOs.

22. Michio Kaku is a very respected scientist...I take his word on this
I know there are more important things to worry about in the world than UFOs, but it's amazing people still react to this issue as many have over the decades. I find it fascinating. Many will always have their head in the sand on it though.

What exactly did he say to make him a nut? UFOs are real (at least 10%)? In these days when FAUX News is redefining nuttery, I think Michio Kaku is faaar from having anything to worry about lol.
