Mr. Go is the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet a man made waterway designed to connect the Mississippi with the Gulf.

It has also destroyed wetlands and helped give hurricanes easy access to NO.

Fortunately it's been closed but the Army Corps. of Engineers is considering creating a replacement.

2. Army Corps. of Engineers seem to be doing a lot more harm than good in a lot of places.

They were supposed to work on the shoreline here near me, and their "fix" caused more erosion than we had ever had before...

Are there actually any real engineers in the Army Corps. of Engineers? It sure does not seem like it.

Didn't they have something to do with screwing up the seawalls and dikes around N.O.? They were built totally
incompetently.

3. The Army Corps of Engineers likes things straight and fast

They did this same thing in Florida, and nearly destroyed the Everglades. Now, of course, there is the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Project.
