1. Afghan War - a.k.a. - cash cow for the Military Industrial Complex
There always has to be a war somewhere, where the U.S. is acting like a dog chasing its tail and serves no purpose other than to keep the money flowing to the MIC.

Ongoing wars make it easier for the Pentagon to make its future budgets doncha know?
