1. Meg Whitman is just another Schwarzenegger.
Thinks that the governor's job looks so easy -- and she thinks that because she does not know anything about it.

I could understand this if she had charm or beauty or unusual intelligence. But all she has is money and the love of spending it. California does not need another Republican big spender.

That last three Republican governors all promised to cut the budget -- and not a one of them did it. Let's give Jerry Brown a chance.

Jerry Brown has nothing to lose by straightening out the state's budget. He can afford to increase taxes because his political future is behind him. He is far less vulnerable to corruption than is Meg Whitman who is Ms. Ambition herself.

Why would a person who did not vote for years suddenly decide to become governor of California? That makes utterly no sense.

She has always been obsessed with one thing: making money for herself. So, what's her plan for making money for herself as governor of California? She keeps talking about a plan. How does she plan to enrich herself as governor of California?

3. If we put a fraction of the money politicians spend to buy their way
into an office on the actual problems in this country, out economy would take a huge rise overnight.

4. Id like to see her waste the rest of her millions.
Because she intends to steal it all back, with interest.

5. I just puke my mouth watching this! Meg is a complete joke.
I can't believe the people attending her speech didn't all puke at the same time. That room must smell nasty.

6. Didn't Steve Martin buy his friends in 'The Jerk'? Maybe she's working on a sequel

And as soon as the checks run out, so do the 'friends' that were bought and paid for

7. it's true - she'll say no to wasteful spending
It's just that her definition of wasteful spending is a little off - social security, employee pensions, health care for everyone, education, and many other things are a huge waste. Getting her into office is not a waste.
