My fellow DUers, the video you see here is the work of one of my good friends, Phil. Last year, he came up with the idea to create a mockumentary series that followed the misadventures of four Tea Party Patriots in Colorado as they tried to affect change in their country. They're disenfranchised and angry because, frankly, their ideas are all terrible and they're all stupid people. But that doesn't stop them from trying! Quick warning - the video contains plenty of NSFW language.

This is Episode 1 (there will be six episodes in all), where we first meet the "heroes" of this series as they protest at the Colorado Capitol Building and select code names to keep the government from getting in their business. It's a little rough in terms of some of the sound quality (which is what happens when you're an amateur with just a laptop and limited time to make use of), but I think it turned out very well.

If you like the video, please feel free to visit the video on Youtube, comment and "like" it there. This was an ambitious project, and my friend Phil gets the credit for his crazy ideas and his hard work. I'll take part of the credit too, since I play the character "Otis" in the series.

In case you're interested, you can also see the teaser trailer for Teabaggers: The Webseries right here:

1. not funny
I have never heard teabaggers use such foul language. Useing lots of curse words is just a trait of a poor actor.

2. You must not have met many Teabaggers then.
The actors don't write the lines, the writer does. The actors read the lines.

Welcome to DU, by the way.

3. No I Have Not
1. I have never met a teabagger.

2. I am willing to bet that the "actors" in this production are also the writers.

3. I doubt the lines in this production were written in stone.

4. I have been visiting DU for quite awhile but only recently created an account.

5. It's nice to be here.

4. Well then.
I have met a number of teabaggers and they can swear a blue streak when they get worked up. And as one of the actors in the webseries, I can assure you that we did work off scripts, and while the lines weren't written in stone we felt no need to change anything the writer/director had written for us. Very few lines were changed from the original scripts - usually to make dialogue flow more freely. The director is a smart guy and he used his own observations to create and write the characters in the webseries.

I'd fucking rather hear a hundred fucking cursewords than listen to one word spewed from the mouths of teabaggers with their heads up their asses.

Bravo!! Love the new series. Hope they win an emmy!

And By the way Chewy, "Have a nice day!"
