2. Larry King was taking a pot shot at Jon.
Jon really put him in his place.

3. CNN was being disrespectful
I think CNN was being disrespectful and degrading giving Stewart a Porta-Potty

5. Don't be to hard on them.
They might have been trying to show off their house. To each his own I guess.

If it is the best they have, it is all they can give. Although I think your right they might not have had best intentions.

Did you see the 'game show' flare of the display, they are thinking it is a game. People that think it is a game try to win for ego or feelings of self, people that try to improve things sometimes win, but think about how that win can help many people, not about some ego feeling that is removed from concepts of empathy.

4. Jon Stewart should be running CNN.
If someone really wanted to unite this country, all they would have to do is just give us accurate information from the experts who know it. I hoped that Obama would do that. I think he is basically honest, but, for instance, with the BP spill, we just are not given the full story on things.

6. Watch it here.....
Edited on Thu Oct-21-10 02:31 PM by LiberalLovinLug
YouTube link is down.

I found the feed from CNN site. Not sure if it is the whole interview.

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2010/10/20/lkl.jon.stewart.full.cnn?iref=allsearch

edit: this is the whole interview, except the first minute banter.

Just watched it. Stewart is great as he always is. I rue the day that Piers Morgan takes over. At least Larry would bring on more liberal guests, and guest hosts. Piers is a friend of Robert Murdoch, he's staunchly right wing. I hope he fails miserably.

7. The full interview is available here, too...
CNN have stupidly restricted their YouTube channel, but this is available everywhere: http://www.youtube.com/user/splurging247#g/u

8. THAT Was Quite Interesting AND I LOVE The Way Jon Handled It All!
I haven't even watched CNN in YEARS and I really mean it. I have access to it and there was a time I did watch, but I stopped completely. I don't ever even think about it anymore, the place just doesn't exist in my world. What IS sad is that there are people like Anderson Cooper, too bad he's with them. But I guess it pays his bills.

CNN is almost like FOX to me! But thanks for posting this because I would NEVER have seen this interview and I'm glad I got the chance.

STILL, not going to be watching CNN, and I thought Stewart was fabulous, AS ALWAYS. Looking forward to 10/30 if I'm able to see it somewhere. Can't go, no dough!
