1. Rachel Maddow's show from Alaska was just the best in journalism

at least in coverage of an election.

She never hid her bias, yet she managed to give each candidate a forum in which the candidate could express his or her views of interest to voters. She was always courteous, never even discouraging to the candidates. I thought it was great. She is such a lady.

Thank you Rachel for setting a great tone.

I went to the MSNBC site just to see what you were up to, and couldn't stop watching your coverage of that election. I felt after watching it that I really had an idea not just about the stances of the candidates, but also their personalities. You managed to treat each of them with great respect, which is what should be done in election coverage.

are not the majority, that we think and we are powerful. Vic Fischer was fun to see. Our elders invented this state and if you want to see what progressivism looks like, read our state constitution.
