maybe the internet? video games? the world is a different place from 20 years ago. i used to stay home and smoke pot, play video games all day. way better then working. now i don't have time for it.. i miss those days.

6. You may be on to something in regards to video games

Some video games especially pay as you play MMORPGs are designed to create an artificial sense of accomplishment. Another problem with people living at home though is the cost of living has increased greatly over the past 3 decades. The cost of housing, health care & transportation as well as education have increased by 10-30% over the past 30 years, & in the same period of time wages for the bottom 80% of workers have gone down 10%, adjusting for inflation of course. It's a lot harder these days to get started out in life.

I wasn't "social" in high school - I was among the outsiders, rejects, geeks, and freaks - but I smoked me some of the goddess' special green - quite a bit of it in fact - and I am more than liberal.
