Phyllis Schlafly, the 86-year-old veteran conservative activist, has a new book: The Flip Side of Feminism: What Conservative Women Know -- and Men Can't Say co-authored with Suzanne Venker. In an interview with Beverly Willett published on The Huffington Post, Venker said (TYT incorrectly attributes the quote to Schlafly though): "Marriage and motherhood are not something to which young women have been taught to aspire. Instead the women in their lives tell them to focus solely on their career. The result is women don't think of marriage and motherhood as fulfilling in and of itself. It's silly to think there's something wrong with being in the kitchen--everybody has to eat!" Schlafly and Venker also claim in the book: "If there's one thing feminists love, it's divorce - they consider it liberating."

Hmm (as I commented on the video): so it's OK for Rush Limbaugh to get 3 divorces and re-marry a woman progressively younger than him?

OK, c'mon, is Venker serious? WHICH feminists have been anti-kitchen? Huh?

6. Watched the gem "The China Syndrome" last night

Kimberley Wells is an aspiring television journalist, but it's clear she's just there for eye candy. When she speaks up for herself desiring to do real news instead of fluff pieces, she's told "don't worry your pretty head about that".

Apparently, Phyllis Schlafly wants to go back to the time where women were seen as inconsequential and unimportant. Phyllis should just shutup and go back in the kitchen and make me some damn breakfast!
