13. The Democratic party's official stance

on marriage equality is laughable. Civil unions, rather than full marriage equality- basically the seperate but equal stance. Many state parties are even worse- many don't even mention, let alone work for LGBT rights.

We need to push, and if need be drag, the party to support full equality rather than the tepid, sort-of, equality they (sometimes) espouse now.
