Well, that's a tactic the right has always used well. Throw something out, no matter how untrue or irrelevant--Whitewater, Janet Reno, Obama's "socialism"--and then everyone is free to discuss it. As if it were true, but still just debatable.

I see a lot of people on our side using the same tactic here, sad to say. And people lap it up like honey. And no matter how much "discussion" takes place around the false meme, facts will never serve to erase it.

It's why I'm getting sick and tired of it all.

It's like with doctors. Everyone knows the plastic surgeon has a drinking problems and is mutilating his patients but nobody wants to speak out about it.
