3. I am impressed with Dem. group of women who spoke earlier today.

I am watching the replay of the video of the press conference on Cspan now.
Boxer, Patty Murray, Feinstein, etc. whole group of women emphatically stating some great points.
" We are ready to keep government open but we will not do it at the expense of women's health".
And they pointed out there is NO Federal coverage for abortion anyhow, so why close Planned Parenthood???

6. They should have countered this lunacy with a tax on the rich.

The Dems have shielded the rich by default by failing to include a tax on the rich in the budget process. And the Repukes are taking them to the wall on budget deficits because they don't have to defend their rich buddy's money from a tax hike. So the Dems have nothing to negotiate with. NOTHING. That has been this administration's failing.

7. Planned Parenthood gave me my BC Pills

when my HUSBAND was out of work (offshored to India) for a year, and we had two little children. We were about to lose our home, getting our food from a food pantry, had no health insurance, etc. As RESPONSIBLE adults, MARRIED at that, the last thing we, or the government, needed was another mouth to feed.

I suppose these jerks think I should not have been a slut and crossed my legs to my husband at a very trying time in his life? Or welcome more children, which we couldn't afford, into our family just because we had wedding rings on our fingers?

Any email I have gotten I have written my story to these imbecile legislators. BTW, one of the first things we did when my husband found a job, was to DONATE TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD. Oh, I am sure they would love that one. Married with children donating to Planned Parenthood.

...these ignorant, holier-than-thou's would say: "the Lord will provide." And leave it at that and go on their way.

They have a terrible hangup about sex in general and women in particular. And it also slows women down and will more likely keep them dependent upon men. So from their perspective, "it's all good."
