The bit about shared sacrifice rings very hollow to me.

I already lost a job because my employer wanted to hire someone younger. I've made my sacrifice. And so have so many other Americans, especially those new to the workforce or trying to get into it and those 50 and older.

I've got nothing more to sacrifice, Mr. President.
