This may end up being the most ugliest campaign ever in 2012. How truly sad for us..

3. As I said before, I would take it a giant step further.

4. The most surprising thing about that clip ...

is that Tavis can't abide Obama, and has been extremely harsh about him since the primaries. Not so much on any political grounds, I suspect, as on the fact that candidate Obama did not make an appearance at his Black State of the Union during the campaign season. And then I recall early on driving home and listening on the radio to him agreeing with Cornell West saying, "he's not really a brother, you know."

Well, I guess these kinds of attacks on the President may have convinced Tavis that he's more of a brother than he thought. At least on the receiving end of things. And sadly, the Tea Party/Trump attacks are probably the only reason he seems to be watching the president's back now. I hope there is some reconciliation, because it was really sort of "beneath" Tavis, too.
