2. I hate admit it, but

after watching this more complete account of the Las Vegas speech, watching his Wrestlemania appearances on youtube, and thinking of his whole "Apprentice" shtick, I have a feeling this whole thing is just one big joke, and Donald knows it. Saying "motherfucker" and "fucking" during the Las Vegas speech had to have been premeditated; I can see one slip of the tongue but not two. And his Wrestlemania appearances are deliberately bombastic and a huge exercise in self-parody. You have to hand it to him, he does know how to manipulate the media and how to generate buzz. His brand value has skyrocketed in recent weeks as a result of his efforts.

Either way, I agree with you that this is likely a publicity stunt. But, if it's not, shhhhhhhh.... all Dems need to just let him go. Encourage him even. Please, Lord, let the repubs put this buffoon up for the nomination. The only person who could possible lose worse than Trump is Palin. Hey maybe we'll get a Palin/Trump ticket.
