3. I would much prefer that congress pull funding for Rush's show

on Armed Forces Radio than send a sternly worded letter to the head of Clear Channel. This is a waste of time and will be forgotten before this thread dies.

4. I saw MSNBC cover the story...they were attempting to explain

what Rush meant...that he was indeed refering to a phoney soldier. I do not remember the press attempting to explain the MoveOn ad.

We are so in for it during the election. The democrats will have to claw for any equal time or fairness in what is run in the media and what is not shown.

5. Harry Reid is a horrible speaker.

Why in the hell couldn't the Dems come up with a majority leader that could give an impassioned speech, a little fire in the belly kind of person. Someone who could actually SELL the Dem's ideas to the general public, and fire up our other senators?

I'm SOOO disappointed in Reid & Pelosi. We really do need a whole new batch of "leaders" in congress.

7. Good. And it's about time.

The republicans brought the issue up about not being patriotic to our soldiers - so now it's their turn to be called on the carpet. Free speech, we used to have it in this country. Reid's lucky he wasn't tased. As far as hate speech goes, I thought a long long time ago that Ann Coulter was way out of line talking on TV about the widows of 9-11. At this time we welcomed in gutter speech.
