Mike Papantonio squares off against Republican strategist Ron Christie on The Ed Show to talk about who’s really to blame on the debt ceiling issue.

1. I'm not even going to waste my time watching. Ron Christie is a spawn of John Kasich.

Christie was on Kasich's Washington staff when he was a congressman. Christie was a smug know-it-all then and he's gotten worse as a political commentator today.

2. You know what they should do

When they have guys on like Christie who only spout 'talking points' and never really address the questions asked? If its a 5 minute segment give Christie the first minute to spew his talking points. If they don't fill the full minute he can just repeat them because that's all he does anyway. After that cut his mike and Ed and the other guest can have a substantive conversation about the question at hand.

3. It was worth it. He looked like he was going to shed a tear from the

ass kicking he took.

Pap's did a a great job destroying his talking points.
