I know that a lot of people were so excited for her to become speaker and thought she was going to go to town of ole' Bushy... But there was a small section of us who said we'll see.. and guess what... blank check for George Bush... when in reality they should be ordering armed guards to the white house and rounding up the criminals...

I pray for George Bush. Not often, it is true, but when I do that's pretty much what I pray for him. It's for the good of his immportal soul, after all.

Nancy Pelosi is a more-or-less devout Catholic woman. Perhaps she has a way of framing this more charitably. But why shouldn't she pray for Bush? If he were to become enlightened and actually practice the teachings of Christ, we would all be better off.

The damned media in this country is laying traps for Democratic politicians every single day. What do you expect our Democrats to say, actually? "I pray that hellfire and damnation shall rain down upon his head, speedily and soon"? I somehow don't think that would have a positive effect.

Praying won't do you any good ... you have to speak to God directly like bush does. Is it a wonder that none of your prays get answered? After all, bush has the "hot-line" and with all that's going on one can only imagine bush is burning up that line getting directions from god. And a very strange god bush is listening to, because everything he's gotten from him so far has been dead wrong.

I pray everyday that I'll hit the lottery but it doesn't happen. I guess my god thinks it's better I go to work and earn my money. You know Nancy, maybe you should get up off your knees and start working too. Let's say on something called "impeachment".
