Well it looks like the American run prison system in Iraq seems to mirror ours here in America..

Incarcerate, Incarcerate and Incarcerate!

1. Sentenced to death?
So are we killing innocent women in Iraq prisons who never had a trial? How are we any different than Saddam. Jail the war criminals now!

4. i'm sure it tis prob one of the many prison corps that run our private prison industries....
http://www.correctionscorp.com/whycca.html

Most prisons are operated by government agencies. However, some private corporations have seen the potential for profit in owning and operating private prison facilities under contract to local governments.

In the United States, private prisons are paid a per-prisoner, per-day rate by the contracting government agency.

7. US run prisons
Just like the democracy we have right here at home where we have more than two and a half million prisoners incarcerated. The prison industry is a growing business - world wide.

Really sick. I hope the Iraqi President is really looking into those facilities and making sure these women get a fair hearing and are released as soon as possible. What a crime.

9. WHY???
What is not clear from this report is WHY they are being retained.

Has Iraqi law been violated? USA law? Suspicion?? Suspicion of what?? What have Iraqi media reported or failed to report?

One person claimed to have detained for 4 years - is this real?

If these reports are accurate, what does that do to the USA's already tarnished image or the stability of the Bush imposed Iraqi regime?

Please develop this matter further.

11. The "surge" seems to be in building a prison industry ---
Note the wearing of veils which didn't exist in Saddam Hussein's Iraq ---

13. Geo. Bush's idea of democracy in Iraq? No legal
representation, no charges for Iraq arrests? Guantanamo in Iraq.
