Really great interview with Gneral Clark....Both Colbert and Clark are wonderful.

3. It's tough to take a serious issue and get substance on a comedy show..but it's ALL we have....

I thought the lynne cheney interview on The Daily Show was much, much more interesting. What a bitch!! Poor John had his hands full "not crossing the line" with that dagger eyed wench. I can understand why the devil exists in dick's soul, after living with that piece of art. Maybe there is a LOT more to the spouse of the politician than we like to think. That lady is sheer ugly inside.

Nothing has changed since the Hillary endorsement.

If she becomes President, my mind will be more at peace thinking that the General is one of her foreign policy advisors.

8. I was thoroughly impressed by both, in this interview.

I too would love to see Clark in office. Gore/Clark would be a massive administration.

I was attracted to him, and was thrilled by this interview, by his clarity and perception. He has absolutely none of that "hemming and hawing" and metaphoric throat clearing. There is only a crystal clear bell tone. He speaks from experience. I think this may be what makes him this way. You have these theoretical thinkers who want to play army, who avoided everything military. They are "running" the show. That is why we're at war. That is why the economy is dying. That is why the country is divided.

Weren't they both wonderful? I wondered how Clark would do on the show....Colbert can be a little tricky for a serious guy like Wes, I think...But Wes did great and Colbert was his usual briiliant self.
