The U.S. Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. The states can enact any legislation provided it does not run afoul of the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Supreme Court has stated that sodomy laws are unconstitutional. That is settled law just as Roe v. Wade is law. The states can chomp at the bit against this but they are impotent (likely the condition of most R legislators) to change that. They would need a constitutional amendment to clarify the constitution in this regard. Given that most 20 somethings don't understand why homosexuality is even an issue, I think the likelihood of that is unlikely. So this fossil needs to go in his corner and die (sooner rather than later) and his ilk will fade away.

but this country is one year away from putting these people in full control of the country...I hope you don't think they are going to just fade away. Plus, 20 something's don't vote and that is a huge problem. Unlike us on the left the Right stick together and they will keep fighting until the us is a Christian Theocracy. It's coming.
