1. Those four horse-shit bastards already weld a lot of influence
...so I'm glad to see someone like Josh Marshal exposing these lunatics. The key though is to neutralize them and to ridicule their ideals right out of the Washington power grid altogether

6. The Incredible time bomb
You don't have to be Lee Atwater to imagine a cheap little video arriving in a primary state mailbox campaign(snail and e) simply showing Guiliani in drag, pictures of his various wives, and an endless supply of REAL and public appearances guaranteed to sink any candidate. Yet it is all withheld, invisible,
awaiting permission or the moment.

If the GOP won't do it I suppose someone will eventually. Talk about a non-viable dangerous candidacy. Hillary would look like Joan of Arc in any such shootout.

So why the nomination charade. All impossible candidates walk right over the cliff smiling, but why the delay? The GOP game plan and the unfortunate blowback should the linkage to all the real perverts in the recent scandals get tied into an indelible image while taking down Madame Rudy. All the various videos are fun and telling but the Rudy videos are absolutely deadly if given to the mainstream.

9. Why the nomination charade?
Good question.

One thing that sprung to mind is, getting all of the radical candidates out there -- they're either radical WWIIIers, or just rabid imperialists, or theocrats in one form or another -- and it allows them to weaken each other, while showing which issues divide and where, thus giving valuable information to the eventual "safe" candidate who is waiting in the wings. And I am sorry to say, Carville may be right on this: it may be Jeb Bush. Next to the lunatics they have out there right now, he looks somewhat sane. Not that I would ever vote for him! Anyway, it's a bizarre lineup for the Republics this campaign season so far.

The Democrats have suffered from two things: a large lineup, which tends to dilute individual messages; and the obnoxious tendency of the media to decide early on, who the front runners are, and alloting them more air time, thus lending weight to the national poll numbers, and attempting to influence the primaries by dint of the "common wisdom" of who "can't be beat" so you might as well back them to begin with.
