2. it's a very good answer

first of all, Obama points out that he did get elected. He could also point to polls, though he wouldn't do that with this child, showing that a large number of people like him personally.

And his part about not taking it personal, it's just politics, is right on.

Whatever my criticisms of Obama, as far as I know he never whines about getting picked on by haters. I think he meant everything he said to that boy.

5. Wow. He is so grounded and thoughtful. He does make me proud from time to time.

There are things I wish I could change about his presidency and some are strong like the use of drones,his comfort with the continuance of many Bush practices and the decision not to hold those responsible for war crimes accountable. To be picky I wish that he would hone his ability to gather strong people around him who would vocally and politically champion him and the causes he ran on.

It's all on him. Isn't it? Yet those who are blatantly and boastfully dismantling the parts of our government which are there to promote the general welfare of our grand experiment, the USA, are being followed and lauded. Bizarre Isn't it?

Until someone else beats his stature as the best person up for the job. I see no one. I will support him.

Can't really argue either with the illegally foreclosed who got sold out while the banks got bailed out.

Or with the Occupiers whose 1st Amendment rights are so well protected -- except that they risk torture at the hands of police when they try to exercise those rights.

Still, I don't hate Obama; I just hate the way he governs. Speaking as someone who voted for him, I'd argue with his point that he must be pretty well liked if he got elected. He must *have been* pretty well liked. Things have changed after almost 3 years of his regime.
