If more representatives stood up and represented the disgust We The People had for Bush then the press would be forced to deal with the real problem. But as Stark was cowed and forced to recant the press will continue to look for the next sensation to make money from.

The problem was NOT that Stark stood up, it's that he made drop a real bomb in the middle of it all. If we had 100 Starks sounding off every day in that manner, we could look forward to losing it all in 2008.

We don't have a lot of choices.

It would send a clear message to not vote for our incumbants in the primaries and to support Democratic upstarts instead. But we don't do that. We criticize everyone else's representatives and keep voting in our gutless wonders.
