The Congressional Budget Office just issued a report saying the ost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan could total $2.4 trillion through the next decade, or nearly $8,000 per man, woman and child in the country. So when the House Budget Committee held a hearing on this report on 10/24/07, how many Republicans cared enough to show up? Not a single one.

If they don't care one bit about the biggest military and economic disaster in American history, is there a reason to have any Republicans in Congress?
