4. Great Point
You're right. Ron Paul should give all the money to the Vendetta people. The audacity of the Ron Paul supporters. Just think they are going to have a fundraising Tea Party on Dec 16th in commemoration of the Boston Tea Party that happened in 1773.

When they raise all this money on Dec. 16th 2007 who should they give the money to? Here's a list of participants. I hope I didn't leave anyone out? :)

5. In case you have an open mind this is worth watching
Note, I'm not a Libertarian. But it's impossible for me to disagree
with the essence of their philosophy. This animation is really well
done and I think it presents something universal, not political.

I believe this is the essence of why alot of people are supporting RP.
and... Please don't kill me for posting this.

note.. it's not video, it's a Flash animation.

Typical selfish libertarian crap.

Interesting video, though. Explains them well. Thanks for sharing.

7. How do you see freedom as being selfish?
I am not trying to debate, I am more interested in learning. My point of view is always evolving, and I don't like getting stuck somewhere with a lot of blind spots.

Should it be a law that everybody has to share whatever they have, and that if they don't want to they should go to jail?

8. Any group is only as strong as its weakest members - that's why
If we followed the selfish theme Libertarians promote, we wouldn't have public schools. After all, why should anyone who doesn't have children have to pay taxes to support education? (And if we only taxed parents for education, they would be paying out more than they make in salary.) Why should anyone who doesn't own a car pay taxes to build and repair roads? I am healthy and have insurance. Why should my tax dollars go for health care for others who are not fortunate enough to have it?

See where I am going with this? It's not about forcing people to share, it's about having a society worth living in.

9. Very Good... Philosophy of Liberty
I concur. It's about freedom and liberty... not party affiliation. It's absolutely worth watching. I give it two thumbs up!

12. Do you really think that human beings are property?
A lot of people fall for the "you own your life" line because it sounds superficially like freedom. Where they get you is by framing the entire debate only in terms of ownership. Human rights cannot be reduced to property rights, and any decent person who thinks about the consequences of such a worldview is led to ends completely repellent to freedom.

For instance, in Libertarianland, say you owe someone a debt and can't pay. All you've got left is your final "property" -- your body. Either it truly is property, in which case, I now am entitled to as much of you as it takes to pay the debt -- please remit both of your kidneys, thank you -- or it isn't property, because you have inherent value as a human being. If the second case is true, then there is a higher law that property laws are subservient to, and libertarianism is wrong.

2. He raised that money by convincing 37,000 suckers to send him $113.51
on one day. He recieved money from only 37,000 people. He's a fool's candidate, unless you'd like to see medicare, medicaid, social security, abortion and public education be abolished.

13. That's not really a lot of money
But he is gaining lots of support. Not enough to be taken serious, but enough where campaign contributions should be pouringin.

They are taken Ron Paul serious. And far as the money not being enough, we shall find out on Dec. 16th when the Ron Paul supporters have their Tea Party (Money Bomb).
