John Edwards was scheduled to speak on the steps of the Capitol in Denver as part of the Democratic Unity Rally. The location had to be changed because of a snow storm the night before. The new location was the Colorado Democratic Party headquarters in Denver. The headquarters was warm and dry, but it could not hold all the people who were willing to venture out onto icy or messy streets to hear speeches by Senator Edwards and the state-wide Democratic candidates.

1. JRE has worked very hard this year for the Minimum Wage

initiatives--in all 7 states, I believe. Plus, he's stumped for so many pols running this year.

Ashlarah of OAC was very fortunate to get him up and close in a very crowded room, from what I understand.

2. At the Cincinatti Channel 9 news site, the Sept. 9th rally in Ohio ...

... was covered in a http://www.wcpo.com/news/2006/local/07/09/oh_edwards.html">text story that was mostly about Edwards actual visit on September 9th, and the ACORN meeting that was then coming up. But if you click on the video, the main focus on the local news broadcast was whether John Edwards would run for President.

However, since they had to have pictures to show over top of the reporter's voice, ACORN "Minimum Wage / Living Wage" signs did get prominent display ... and without John Edwards visit, there's no certainty that the Cincinatti rally would have got on the local evening news.

John Edwards always works hard supporting those in whom he believes. He is all about hard work, integrity and doing the right thing.
