2. Legendary? Genius?

She is neither. This is skill starved minimalist punk crap. Wasted stage space. But perhaps she should run in place of Kucinich - or maybe we should see which one has more fans first. This is pure garbage, but if Kucinich is a big fan of hers perhaps it's just another reason he isn't taken seriously by so many. It's all about judgement here folks. Reminds me of a Monty Python episode w/ the bit about the Loony Party and the silly candidates. I think Kucinich has some valid viewpoints that can help the dialogue, but please Dennis, step away now. you're hurting yourself and America laughs at you while they cry for you.

Side note: The "legendary genius" of nina hagen didn't seem to attract a huge audience last night. Applause sounded quite weak, and they seemed like a rank amateur bar band in that clip.

Let's get something straight here: Actual songwriters and real musicians who have mastered their craft can at some point qualify for genius status if they earn it. But Nina Hagen? Give me a break. She is a washed up europunk-cover-singer-almost-was masquerading as an avante garde visual performance artist. This is junk.

by that comparison. Admittedly, I am not familiar with Nina Hagen. Judging by this clip, I'm not missing much. Hagen SHOULD be giving apologies for that horrendous rendition.

5. Ouch!

I'm a huge Kucinich supporter, have even been called a brown shirt loyalist though I don't know what that really means! I'm not exactly young and hip, don't know much Nirvana and never heard on Nina Hagen, but that was awful. I think me, a tone deaf hubby and the 4 year old could have done better (the child can flat play the drums!). Anyway, Kucinich '08!
