15. Morton West HS Protest and Senator Obama

Anyone know if Senator Obama showed any support of the students at Morton West High School facing expulsion for an anti-war demonstration? I realize he is a US Senator and public schools are locally controlled but if he showed any support of those students then I would be impressed. I doubt he would have for a variety of reasons, but does anyone know?

Obama looked them in the eye and attempted to engage in some sort of intelligent dialogue. They weren't gonna, because that was not their mission.

Kerry, on the other hand, looked up to the sky and started whistling, wishing it would all go away. And THAT was just someone asking questions.

One other thing Obama could have done would be to invite a couple down to the platform and let them ask a question or two or make their statement and then address their points.

Using this as a means to discredit Obama is completely bogus.
