It would be way too much to expect Beck to change his stripes! The hospital staff had no compassion for him probably because he was pompous and rude. You can tell that from the way he characterizes regular working ("stiffs") people. He says in the video that he went off the medication because of how it made him feel, and now blames the video on the medication he was on. He wants to run down trial lawyers but will do the John Stossel and sue anyway.
