A humorous Leno Jaywalking-like segment, with an all-politics twist, during Maher's 'Real Time' show, from 1/11/08.

Maher's approach managed to sneak-in information on candidates' positions while keeping the audience entertained by the nonsensical and woefully misinformed guy-on-the-street responses. With the state of media coverage of the campaigns, today, hell, I'd welcome more of these segments on the evening news. Or maybe Sam Seder doing more of the same for 23/6.

5. Seriously, she was more coherent than
any of the dipshits from Iowa or New Hampshire I have heard interviewed. I have yet to hear one interview with a resident of IA or NH who actually demonstrated even a 7-year-old's level of understanding of how this country operates and what is going on in the world.

6. Haven't we predicted that outcome for years?
It's what you get when you try to be Republican Lite instead of a true opposition party. We're saddled with Bush's mistakes nearly as much as he is.

10. Well, I'd say it's mostly owing to the Democrats failure to fully link ...
... the Republican rubber stamping of Bush's agenda, from 2000-2006, to all the failures and corruption. Too much emphasis has been placed on blaming Bush, and not enough on calling out all those who are his enablers.
