and it was a shame to hear those questions. It was like they just wanted them to fight.

The questions those two had asked up to that point were crappy and non-substantive. Like this gentleman, I felt that they were trying to get the candidates to pick a fight.

I was fed up with both of them by the time he yelled out.

Sounded to me like a good citizen smacking down Russert there. Then Russert goes on to continue with his race-based question...
