I post this not to raise the hackles of the Clinton supporters, but as a video that's getting a lot of attention on You Tube, and a message coming directly from the black community. I think Bob Johnson has done a lot of damage to Hillary's chances of winning.

3. I really hope
She enjoys her life under president Huckabee.

No shit it's going to bite them (Obama supporters) in the ass. It's going to bite all of us in the ass when the Democratic party is so fractured that none of the candidates (including my choice, Edwards) has a chance in the general.

I was convinced there was no WAY the R's could win in 2008. I'm beginning to reassess that notion.

12. Just on the GOP topic
people really want to treat them as irrelevant. I see key signs that indicate they consider themselves as having more than a chance to win in 2008. You might see desperation, revolt, disarray as hopeful but this is not entirely the case. For them 2006 was a grim price and partly fluke of "untimely" scandals. They merely need to blunt the Dems even if the margins appear to favor Dems strongly. The media will fall into line no matter what. No matter what so long as the GOP hangs on to its intent and capabilities. The big money is waiting, not gone. The opening moves are mostly positioning, flexibility and under the radar for them, steering and roiling the Dems. The large perception tactically is in their favor as things unfold despite the excitement Dems feel in their innocent process to pick a nominee and the lack of leadership by the party establishment in tackling the control and power of criminal GOP elements. It is not a heartening picture for a realist.

When Saddam was defeated in Gulf War I and crippled somewhat with restrictions, there were popular uprisings. One wiser citizen businessman refused to back the newbies because he knew they were not ready and knew what Saddam could do. What we have in the US is a very alarmingly naivete forging ahead against entrenched positions. So many of those things have NOT changed that the mere will of a confused people cannot by any means be presumed to be enough.

17. Yes, she is a moron and hasn't got a clue as to what she's talking about!
She just likes hearing the sound of her own voice (echoing in her bathroom) talking BS as if her lecturing self importance is about a relevant point to this election. At last night's debate, Russert held four pages of retaliatory statements against Johnson and the Clinton campaign released by the Obama camp that would have created more friction adding to additional race baiting. Obviously, Russert was prepared to go point by point within the entire context of Obama's statements taking a fragile situation into dangerous territory which could have reopened old healed racial wounds into outright blood and guts violence into the streets when we woke up this morning.

I'm glad all three candidates agreed ahead of time not to fall for Russert's little game and not only subverted his well made plan but buried it as not an issue of interest to Democratic candidates.

Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 12:04 PM by mrdemocrat78
She is absolutely right. Plain and simple; this is exactly what team clinton has been doing... And then all you hillary supporters turn around and blame the black man. BRAVO.

And the only way this comes back to bite Obama is you keep pretending that Johnson wasn't talking about Obama's drug use.

It really is quite pathetic. She knew she couldn't say that stuff, or have bill say it. So she gets another black man to say it so she can't be blames for being the hypocrite she is.

Dirty Dirty Dirty.

6. Since this is out there, and is being viewed,
it might behoove Clinton supporters to brainstorm ways in which to counteract this message.

7. It's a fact Hillary needs the black vote to win
And this video illustrates the backlash Bob Johnson has created. I think it's a valid issue to debate and sorry you don't agree. It was a very bad move on Hillary's part to even use Bob Johnson when you consider the negative stereotyping of black women that he's made billions on. Sorry, but your candidate now has a backlash on her hands, and dems da facts.

The perfect excuse to declare Martial Law and suspend ALL elections indefinitely!

Thanks, OP for your stupidity playing right into their hands...also the same to the moronic individual who can't help tripping over her ego in her bathroom recording studio.

23. EVERYONE WHO THINKS THIS MATTERS IS
MISTAKEN. The swing voters we need to get to win the election are probably not disgruntled african-americans. They are idiot white people who voted for the current chimp in charge, because bill got a blowjob. Some african-americans are going to be upset by what has happened, but the majority won't know, care, or aren't stupid enough to be fooled by it. Whoever gets the dem nomination gets my vote, and if we don't wind: IT MUST BE RIGGED!
