I'm in college and I'm now taking a course in 'American politics and culture after 1900'. I knew all the presidents in the right order already because I memorized this song.

1. Addition:

The lyrics were altered for tv. Originally, this was a song on CD, and they sang:

"John F. Kennedy, he gets shot
So Lyndon Johnson takes his spot"

This was changed into:

"John F. Kennedy had Camelot
Then Lyndon Johnson took his spot"

Also, the CD-version goes like this, about Clinton:

"And now in Washington, DC
There's Democrats and the GOP
But the one in charge, it's plain to see
Is Clinton, first name Hillary"

This was changed into:

"But the ones in charge, it's plain to see:
The Clintons, Bill and Hillary"
