I have never seen a more diverse crowd. Granted, I am only 28, but it was quite refreshing to see such a crowd in a city like Seattle. And refreshing certainly isn't a word I use often when it comes to politics. :-)

11. You have to love it when he talks about the constitution. It's the constitution or bust...

...The fact that he has taught about the founding document shows he know it's historical relevance and when abided by shines the beacon to the world of ethical behaviour.

12. I wanted to attend.

I was going to take my five year old daughter. We figured that if we got there at 11 we'd be fine. Then, at 10:15 we heard on the radio that Key Arena was ALREADY at capacity, more than two hours before Obama was scheduled to speak. I'd bet they turned away another 20,000 people. They had the whole end of town closed off to turn people back. They were sending out radio alerts to keep the crowds from swelling. 3000 people listened on big speakers outside in the freezing cold. Amazing,
