I just felt like posting a blast from the past to brighten people's day.

1. I don't get it

Hillary Clinton is not the same person as Bill Clinton.

2008 is not 1996.

A sitting incumbent president's political position is not the same as a senator vying for a nomination.

I know you just wanted to brighten our day, but it's befogging mine: I don't feel comfortable, as a woman or a citizen, conflating the political careers of these two people. Which is it? Is Hillary Clinton running for the president on her own, or is this somehow restoring the Clintons (plural)? I don't think it helps her candidacy to compare it to Bill's.
